Personal Counseling

Available Counseling

When students need an objective, caring listener who is knowledgeable about human behavior, the Counseling and Testing Center is the place to go. Everyone can benefit from counseling from time to time, and a variety of students take advantage of our services. Expect the counselor to listen attentively, and offer questions and feedback aimed at helping you help yourself.

If you are unsure whether the Counseling Center is the place to go, come and talk with us, we will assess it together. We can help with a wide range of concerns, but will also refer you to another agency if needed.

Below are some of the most common reasons that students seek counseling:

  • Self-Esteem and Identity
  • Academic Skill Building
  • Career Decision Making
  • Interpersonal Skill Building
  • Social Tension

  • Depression
  • Anxiety and Stress
